Well I have New Beetle, and her name is Bluebelle. Sort of named after the delish ice cream, but mostly from a fictional character Anya and I made up (who was my son... it's way messed up and yet totally hilarious)

We also had a 1988 Oldsmobile called Beulah. And our Prius is called "The Thing" and all our expeditions are called "Truck" although clearly expeditions are not trucks.

My Dad had an Orange Ford Fiesta that he called "The Orange Bomb".
Queen is Bored
Just read an interesting article posted on yahoo, but it was written for Marie Claire. It's how to attract guys. I'll post all the little rules, and try to figure out what exactly is wrong with us single ladies.

1. You're Surrounded by Lots (I mean LOTS) of Friends

So when going out, instead of inviting all of your group, select key characters that will not look too judgmental or make you look bad. Also you must be able to ditch them to talk to this guy, I mean thats the only reason for going out right? To get guys, not to like hang out with your friends and have fun.

2. You're Too Hot

So when going out, never dress too hot, dress in slightly dowdy clothing and do not go full force with make up, remember, guys want to be the attractive ones in the relationship. They want to seem like the "winners" and look charitable for dating you.

3. Getting Too Tipsy

Guys do want you to have some sort of buzz, that way it's easier to approach you and they are more likely to get a better reaction, but if your super wasted they have to worry about whether you'll puke on their new Armani Italian Leather shoes. I mean *GASP* that would be dis-gus-ting ewww.

4. Looking Sloppy

Well this is for the girl that was trying to hard not to look hot that they went overboard and went for the sloppy librarian, when they're used to being the sexy librarian type. Plus a guy would never want to be seen hitting on some chick who's got lipstick on her teeth, it would damage his reputation.

5. Downer Demeanor

You should at all times look perky, and happy, possibly a bit empty in the head. Guys don't like it when girls are worried about the world, for example, don't go out to a bar and talk about the latest on the oil spill in the gulf or the impact of the Iceland's Volcano on European economy. Just stick to things like nail polish.

6. You're With Another Guy In Any Capacity

Obviously guys fill threatened by any guy, even if its your brother, so by no means should you talk to, or stand near a guy, even if he is your waiter for the night, or your best friends fiance.

7. You have a Ring

Guys think that by having a ring on your taken. So no rings, I don't care if it was the ring your grandmother gave you as a family heirloom and you've never taken it off. This could totally damage your chances of getting hit on by stupid guys who think that any sort of ring means your engaged.

8. You seem Busy

Look bored, and uninterested in what your friends have to say. I mean your friends totally get it, they can buy your birthday gifts and share special moments with you, but they should realize they're disposable. Especially when trying to appeal to guys. You are, after all, going to ditch them the moment a guy shows his interest in you. This is your overall goal in life. To snag a guy, who cares about friendships, they're not deep and meaningful anyways.

9. You're Literally Tough To Catch

Choose one place for the night and don't move, don't move to order a drink, don't move to greet a friend. Do not by any means run to the restroom, because that will inevitably the moment a guy will come to hit on you. So you must do one or all of the following, do not drink anything before going out at night, take a laxative hours before hand to get all the stuff out, or buy some depends and not worry about laxatives or not drinking.

10. You're a Wall Flower

Oh right, make sure your table or area your standing in, is in the middle of the room. If you can arrive the venue early to place a spot light on you. A neon sign that reads "Single and Ready for your approach" would be good too, but don't use yellow or green, those colors turn guys off. Stick to blue.

So what we've learned from this article is to go out with friends, but not too many, actually they don't have to be your friends, because your friends would probably not stand for getting ditched later, just choose some random girls off the street that don't look nearly as good as you, and of course they must be stupid. This will help you to look bored and yet engage in such topics light topics, this will help you utilize the downer rule and yet make it seem like your not busy. Remember there is also a fine line between looking less hot and sloppy, don't cross it find a medium. I like to go with slightly baggy clothing and less awesome make up, oh and not brushing my hair, it gives a nice ruffled look. Never wear a ring, in fact don't wear any jewelry, a guy may think your bright pink bracelet is from a boyfriend, while your fake pearl necklace gives off a 'wifeish look'. Oh and remember never to drink any alcohol because that may make you go to the restroom, get an empty martin glass and put water in the bottom, to make it seem as though you've been drinking, but not to actually drink, because you can't leave your space. And by all means do not forget your spot light, how else will guys notice you with out it. And keep the center of the room.

If you can do all of these things, than you are going to land the best of the best in terms of guys. I mean who needs to have stimulating conversation and wear pretty things and have friends. I hope you've gained some knowledge and are ready to emulate these rules.

I'm the Reversed Pope

Ferris Wheel
So it was discovered last night that I have some things that need to be changed in my life.

So I've broken them down to 3 different things

1. I need to get over all the crap that Alyssa did to me, and I really think I'm on the road to recovery on that. I finally deleted her off my friends list on facebook, and this weekend I plan on throwing away the post card she sent me from Germany and the scarf she got me in France. I'll also look for other Alyssa like things that haunt my room.

2. I need to start focusing more on myself, not in a selfish way, far from it, probably more like focus like normal people do and don't worry about the well being of others to get out of worrying about yourself. Which is true, I sacrifice a lot for the people around me and its about time I stop doing that and doing things for myself. By figuring out who I am, and learning to be me I can work with my creativity and become someone better. I think this will be the hardest part. I get way to emotionally involved in the things around me and people around me, it will be hard to learn not to do that anymore.

3. Err Once I've accomplished this I will be able to tap into my creativity whenever I feel like, and only then will I be able to have any sort of romantic relationship

So I know that was vagueish, but I figured if I wrote them down I would be more likely to do it. Also I need to kill some time. And this has been on my mind a lot and as much as I like my friends at school, I don't think they would get it.

On a totally different note, The Secret History of the Pink Carnation, which is supposed to be Jane Austeny is totally not Jane Austeny, especially after I read about a late night fondling in a boat on the River Thames, so very Scandalous. But I will continue to read it, I just don't appreciate the false advertisement.

If you could hang out with any fictional character for a whole day, who would you choose, and why?

Well.... 1st pick would be Wash from Firefly. I love Wash! He could tell me funny jokes, we could fly around space, and I could help him pick out an awesome tacky shirt. We'd finish the day by practicing cussing in chinese.

But With Howl we could perform magic and play his guitar for me and sing songs about my beauty *sigh* And I could wear a pretty dress with a big hat!

But What about Mr. Bingley! He's so cute and I adore him. I could still wear a pretty dress and we could take a stroll around the garden and read Shakespeare sonnets to one another. I could also have a pretty shawl or one of those awesome coats that they wear.

But what about Prince Eric. He's amazing. Strong, funny, humble. And you can't forget that great smile. We could go for a boat ride and dance and he would find me charming and laugh at my jokes. And smile, lots of smiling.

I was bored so this happened.

I'd say Lost in Translation is my go to movie. It just makes me feel better when I can see that I'm not alone. It's just comforting.

Like yesterday when I was freaking out about my future and classes and having a mini breakdown, the first thing I turned to was Lost in Translation.... I later decided on watching Honey and Clover, but you see where I'm going.

Honey and Clover would be my go to tv series. I realize it's a anime or whatever, but I really think the characters and their problems are easily relatable. And its very honest and full of heart. I can't help but cry with the characters. Growing up is hard, and this show just shows that you can work through it.

I also enjoy watching things like Kiki's Delivery Service, Hercules and The Little Mermaid to indulge my inner child...

When I'm sick Jane Austen films are the way to go, just pop in Emma, Sense and Sensibility and Pride and Prejudice and I'm good. Also James Bond movies are good distractions along with Indiana Jones and Star Wars.

Movies just make my feel better (most times).

Given that we're less than a week out from Valentines, how do you feel about the approaching holiday? Will you participate or abstain? If you're not in a relationship, how will you celebrate your single status?

I'm pretty excited, Im going to make some cute little cupcakes, I've found this delicious looking tomato sauce that I want to try out. So I might make that with some cool curly noodles, maybe cook up some asparagus and make garlic bread. Yum!!! I'd like to do this with the girls *wink wink* and we can make a night of it and watch some old romantic movies like Sleepless in Seattle. Or maybe comedies that have nothing to do with romance. I just enjoy the holiday, am I a little bitter to not be sharing it with someone, well kind of. I'm more like "I want someone to buy me flowers", but as of right now I don't much care to have one. I've got a lot of stuff I need to focus on like school, and trying to get a job.

In other news took a color test and theses are my results

Cool right? I'm not really into math, but I do organize things in a certain way, and I do have like people to be accurate about their facts. With my Marketing minor maybe I can go into advertising, become a Mad Men, it'll be a blast. =P

I often thought about being a costume designer, but I'm not really in the designer side, but I think I could self teach and maybe take sewing classes over the summer just to get to know the basics.

If not that I'd love to work in wardrobe for a t.v. shows or movies. I know they get paid pretty well (depending on what your working on) or if not that I'd like to be a stylist. I guess I want to go into the more creative side of fashion merch instead of the business side.

Anyways this is super off topic now and I need to finish homework.
